SCOR Awards Maris Another Major Office Refurbishment

Maris Interiors are delighted to have recently commenced work on site for their second major workplace design and office refurbishment project with SCOR Global Life part of the SCOR Group, one of the largest reinsurance companies in the world.

Maris’ first partnership with SCOR Global Life came in 2009 with the office design and fitting-out of 22,000 sq ft spread over four floors of 10 Lime Street in the heart of the City..

SCOR has since expanded to include Channel Syndicate, a newly authorised Lloyds syndicate backed by the reinsurance giant. This has resulted in the requirement for additional workspace satisfied through the acquisition of the last remaining floor in their current building. The new office space will be split to accommodate both the new Channel Syndicate as well as SCOR’s expansion.

Maris’ office design embraces the independence of Channel Syndicate and takes into account their brief for a more cost effective solution than the ultra high specification provided in SCOR’s space. Their workspace comprises a Reception Area and two meeting rooms with the remainder consisting of open plan desking.

SCOR’s expansion space encompasses a second telepresence room, alongside additional meeting rooms and further celluar offices.
