FMGlobal has signed for office space in the City at a record rent.
British Land and Oxford Properties have let the 41st floor of the Leadenhall building to the American insurance firm.
FMGlobal will occupy 7,679 sq ft of office space at rent of £83.50 sq ft. They will relocate their offices from 34-36 Lime Street where they currently lease 5,539 sq ft.
The Leadenhall Building will provide the highest quality office space, an elegant, adaptable and sustainable working environment in a building of world standing. The City of London property was designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.
This latest deal means that 330,489 sq ft of the 610,000 sq ft building, taking it to 54.17% let.
The developers were advised by DTZ and JLL.
