Maris Interiors’ office design and relocation project for PepsiCo has been awarded BREEAM Excellent.
Sweett Group had been commissioned by Maris Interiors to carry out a BREEAM Offices 2008 Post Construction assessment for our office fit-out at 450 South Oak Way, RG2 6UW.
We are delighted to announce that the building achieves a score of 71.96%, which has resulted in a BREEAM Excellent rating being awarded.
BREEAM Offices is part of the BREEAM family of environmental assessment methods (BRE’s Environmental Assessment Method). It is a voluntary scheme that aims to quantify and reduce the environmental burdens of buildings by rewarding those designs that take positive steps to minimise their environmental impacts.
Our project for PepsiCo involved the successful relocation PepsiCo’s head office from Arlington Business Park into their new premises at Green Park in Reading. Over 22 weeks Maris fitted out 104,000 sq ft of office space over five floors including a staff gym and full service canteen.
At Maris we are committed to monitoring our projects from an environmental perspective and managing those aspects which have the potential to impact the environment. This latest award to proof that we are committed to sustainable office design.
