Office Design, Fit-Out & Relocation For Capstone

Maris Interiors is delighted to announce the completion of the office design, office fit-out and office relocation for leading equity firm Capstone to their new London head office at 21 Great Winchester Street, London, EC2.

Capstone, a multi-strategy firm that trades equities, commodities fixed income and money markets around the world, has taken 4,000 sq ft of office space in this 27,000 sq ft newly refurbished office building in the heart of the City.

Capstone also has offices on Wall Street, New York and in Singapore.

Maris Interiors first became involved with Capstone back in May 2008 following a recommendation from London Diversified Fund Management 9LDFM), whose 11,000 sq ft office fit-out at 10 Grosvenor Street, London had impressed the team at Capstone.

Maris helped Capstone to view and evaluate 7 potential office buildings before settling on 21 Great Winchester Street.

Interestingly, each of the dealers on the trading floor have 4 PC’s, and with an additional 10 large screens in the trading area keeping traders exposed to emerging situations, therefore the availability of power was a huge factor in the building search.

The fast-track fit-out project, which started on site late February, has taken just 6 weeks to complete. The scope of works, across a single floor plate included a beautiful reception space with bespoke walnut panelling, an open-plan trading floor, 2 meeting rooms, a tea point and comms room.

Capstone’s vision is to “collapse the walls limiting inventiveness and communication”.

With innovation, creativity and integrity as their key beliefs, the move to the City from a smaller office at 21 Saint Thomas, London, SE1 has allowed Capstone to create their new office in keeping with these values.
