London Office Fit-Out And Relocation For 123 Send

123 Send, the United Kingdom’s leading provider of ‘mobile’ GPRS card payment terminals, appointed Maris Interiors to undertake their office fit-out and relocation to 120 Leman Street, London, E1 8EU. This fast-track office design, fit-out and relocation project, which started on 19th October 2009, took just three weeks to complete.

The brief involved a full fit-out of 2,800 sq ft of office space at 120 Leman Street and consisted of new furniture, partitioning, door frames, skirting, kitchen unit, plumbing, IT, mechanical and electrical and a high level of emergency services.

The challenging aspect of the project was the integration of the operations area, security and IT requirements. The operations area is the hub of their business, therefore it was crucial that the design detail and function for this space was fully examined and captured their projected growth over the next 3 to 5 years. In addition to this, the Client’s focus was on collaboration and team work for the open plan working area and the front of house reception and meeting room spaces. Therefore space planning and furniture ergonomics were all crucial elements at the initial planning stage.
