Construction work in London is now at its highest level since the financial crisis.
The Deloitte Real Estate Report shows 77 office developments under construction in the capital. This consists of 11.1m sq ft of office space.
This rate is 18% higher than six months ago.
The new office buildings include: Principle place, Amazon’s new HQ anfd 100 Bishopsgate where the Royal Bank of Canada will take space.
44% of developments are with technology, media and telecoms companies, while just 27% are with financial services groups, the traditional occupiers of space in central London.
