Considerate Constructors Scheme Award For Maris
The Considerate Constructors Scheme has recently awarded Maris Interiors a “High Level Beyond Compliance” award for their office fit out for SCOR at 10 Lime Street, London, EC3M 7AA.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is an external body, endorsed by the government, which assesses the principal contractor’s performance in key areas such as the environment, the workforce and the general public. The key objectives of these areas are designed to encourage work to be of a sustainable and environmentally conscious manner with minimal impact to the surrounding area and general public.
Maris were scored for this assessment while onsite with SCOR, one of the largest reinsurance companies in the world.
The project for SCOR involved the office design and office fit-out of 4 floors spread over 22,000 sq ft in the newly refurbished 10 Lime Street, London.
The workplace brief included the design and construction of a total of twenty six unique joinery elements to provide a bespoke designed solution tailor made for SCOR.
Completion of this office fitting out project is scheduled for the end of October.
Maris’s Health and Safety Director said “This award measures Health and Safety and Environmental compliance and our achievement of a ‘high level beyond compliance’ score is a reflection of the great effort that the team at Maris have put into attaining this outstanding result”.
