These figures compare favourably with last year’s results.
This means that total office availability in London has fallen by 27% in the past year.
Significant deals in January include: Aimia taking 40,000 sq ft at 80 Strand in WC2, The Office Group occupying 34,000 sq ft at 2 Stephen Street in west London and the 65,000 sq ft letting by Hewlwtt Packard at 1 Aldermanbury EC2.
Availability of new and newly refurbished offices has fallen by a fifth over the past 12 months and now stands at 4.8m sq ft
