Maris Create Landmark Office for Dun & Bradstreet

Maris Interiors are delighted to announce their partnership with risk specialist, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) to design and fit-out their new Dublin offices.
D&B are opening a new data processing centre in the Chase Building, Sandyford, Dublin. This new base will create 100 jobs over the next 18 months and it is understood that further expansion if planned.
D&B is based in the US and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Its market capitalisation is in excess of $3.5 billion. Latest figures show the last year’s revenues came to more than $1 billion and they had net profits approaching $290 million.
Irish Development Agency Chief Executive, Barry O’Leary, welcomed D&B’s announcement. “Their decision to choose Ireland for this strategically important and knowledge-driven activity is very significant for Dublin and the country as a whole”. Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Mary Coughlan, also welcomed the news.
The Chase combines eye-catching architecture with quality construction materials and excellent finishes throughout creating the best possible working environment. The design features a high degree of flexibility enabling optimum space solutions, and the high-spec fit-out incorporates the latest in environmental technologies.
The building is one of very few third generation office buildings in the Sandyford area and has been designed to be a striking and landmark addition.
Maris have been retained to carry out the design and installation of Cat A and Cat B works. Stephen Barter, Maris Interiors Designer, commented, “Dun & Bradstreet made a concious committment to evaluate and use ‘green’ products throughout the project in all materials selected for the fit-out of the space”.
