Oxford Properties Select Maris

May 2010

Maris Interiors are delighted to announce the commencement on site of our second project for Oxford Properties. Established as a real estate investor and developer in 1960, today Oxford is a global real estate platform that participates in the market as an investor, owner, asset manager, developer and real estate manager.

Oxford Properties, part of OMERS Worldwide in Canada, set up their first London office back in 2008 in a landmark building within New Street Square, New Fetter Lane with Maris Interiors completing their initial fit-out.

Two years on, due to personnel expansion, Maris were asked to design a solution to provide suitable company groupings within the existing space, this called for a total reconfiguration of existing offices and a complete reorganisation of the open plan workstation areas.

The original design and existing high specification of acoustic glazing and solid walls was retained to ensure performance was not compromised. To also ensure business continuity during these configuration works, Maris will carry out the majority of works out of hours and will work closely with Land Securities, the Landlord of the building.

Maris' Project Director commented, “We were pleased to be called back in by Oxford Properties following the success of orignal project. We treated this reconfiguration with the same level of importance as the original fit-out.”
