Maris Complete Office Design & Fit-Out Project for DZ Bank

Maris Interiors are delighted to announce the completion of DZ Bank AG’s new London Office at 150 Cheapside.
The new office, overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral is the second project Maris has completed for Germany’s fifth largest bank. Back in 2004, Maris partnered with DZ Bank for the office design and fit-out of their previous London office at 10 Aldersgate Street.
DZ Bank took 12,000 sq ft of office space within the 120,000 sq ft development at 150 Cheapside. Their space, on the top floor, boasts full height windows which baths the space in natural light and allows magnificent view of one of London’s most iconic landmarks, St Pauls.
Maris’ created a scheme for DZ Bank, similar to that of their New York and Berlin offices, that showcased their vast art and sculpture collection and made the best use of the natural light and amazing views. The Boardroom was placed on the south-side of the space overlooking the stunning landscape.
The scope of works for this single floor plate included cellular offices for DZ Bank’s senior employees, meeting rooms, tea point and breakout area and comms room with the remainder of the space open plan.
This project was mainly led by the design aspects and Maris’ Design team created an amazing scheme, incorporating all of the Client’s desires and requirements in regard to their art collection, whilst ensuring a practical and functional layout”.
