Office Design & Fit-Out for Li & Fung

Maris Interiors are delighted to announce the commencement of the final phase of their major office design and fit-out at 242 Marylebone Road on behalf of Li & Fung, the supply chain managers for major brands and retailers worldwide.
Phase 1 included the creation of offices fast-tracked to enable timely vacation of Li & Fung’s existing premises. Phase 2 created ‘shops within an office environment’ by merging a suite of showrooms together with Executive front of house facilities.
The final phase, now underway, involves the creation of ‘high end’ showroom facilities in order to create a true retail environment and covers 10,000 sq ft of the overall 30,000 sq ft project.
Maris overcame the challenges that arose from working in an older building by keeping an open dialogue with Li & Fung and devising plans to overcome these issues without detriment to the workplace design scheme. With Li & Fung based in Hong Kong it was vital that strong communication lines were established.
Maris’ Project Director commented, “I have totally enjoyed the weekly contact with the Client, based in the North of England and our regular liaison with the Project Management Team based in Hong Kong. We are exceptionally please to have received BREEAM accreditation on this office refurbishment project and with a fit-out of this nature a proactive team attitude is vital and something we have in abundance.”
