Office Design and Fit-Out for Plantronics

Following on from comprehensive workplace consultancy and office design, Maris are pleased to announce their commencement of the office fit-out for Plantronics Limited at Interface Business Park, Wiltshire.
Plantronics are the world’s leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of lightweight communications, whose products are widely used in many Fortune 500 companies and have featured in numerous films and high profile events.
Working closely with Maris, Plantronics established a real estate strategy that optimised the efficiency of their occupation and workplace across several buildings and allowed them to sub-let one of their properties.
In support of this strategy, Maris developed a workplace design solution that altered and maximised the usage of office space, creating additional workspace in a surplus warehouse area of a property.
The project involves the addition of a mezzanine floor to double the square footage of the space. The Ground floor will consist of a reception area and cafe facility with the remainder creating much needed open plan workspace adding further headcount efficiency. The First floor will house Plantronics new meeting suite along with cellular offices and more open plan work areas.
Maris were selected as Plantronics' fit-out partner due to their excellent workspace solution, outstanding office design and assistance in improving the efficency of Plantronics real estate solution.
Maris’ Project Director commented, “We entered this project with a free thinking approach on how to optimise the existing facilities and achieve the result desired by Plantronics and by doing so created good quality office space and a meeting room suite from little used Warehouse space. Maris enabled Plantronics to achieve their property position and be cost effective in the process”.
