Office Design and Fit-Out for Lucidus Capital in London
April 2011
Lucidus Capital Partners, a Credit Hedge Fund Manager, have appointed Maris Interiors to undertake the workplace consultancy, office design, office fit-out and office relocation to their new offices on the 3rd floor, 55 New Bond Street, London W1.
The fit-out commenced on site in February 2011 and is scheduled for completion within seven weeks in coordination with the launch of the Lucidus Funds in London and New York.
The office design brief called for a high quality office fit-out within a challenging timescale. With a large area allocated to a Client suite and reception, a highly detailed and intricately coordinated office design was required. The remaining areas were utilised in an open plan trading arrangement with cellular offices and meeting areas.
Maris were chosen for the works primarily due to their understanding of the Lucidus business which enabled them to perfectly tailor the workspace and trading floor to Lucidus’ exacting requirements and the successful completion of the original Caxton Asset Management offices at 40 Berkeley Square, London in 2004. Lucidus liked the Maris approach and given their past relationship had high confidence in the successful delivery of this particularly time and quality critical office design and fit-out project.
Maris' Project Director commented, “We were delighted to be working with the Lucidus team once again. Our workplace designers worked closely with their internal team to ensure their high design aspirations were achieved and the detailing to the front of house ensures the scheme gives an understated and established feel to the office”.
