Office Design and Fit-Out for BTG Pactual LLP

Maris Interiors are delighted to announce the commencement of a major office design and fit-out project for BTG Pactual Europe LLP at Berkeley Square House , Berkeley Square, London, W1.
As one of the leading Investment Banks, Asset and Wealth Managers from emerging markets, BTG have international offices in New York and Hong Kong with headquarters in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
BTG Pactual came into existence following a takeover of UBS Pactual in 2009 and has a history that stretches back 27 years. The growth of the organisation has seen them recently announce an agreement for a capital increase of US$1.8 billion, subscribed by an international consortium formed by strategic investors from Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.
As an existing Client, Maris have supported BTG’s growth in London, a relationship that commenced with a 2,000 sq ft search in 2007 on behalf of Lentikia Capital, shortly before their takeover by BTG.
Maintaining contacts within the organisation, Maris have undertaken a number of small office design and fit-out projects at BTG’s existing premises and witnessed firsthand the success and growth of the company.
The new 10,000 sq ft fit-out in wings 6 and 7 on the 6th floor at Berkeley Square House is being delivered in conjunction with the Landlord’s own redevelopment of the Category A services within the property.
The ongoing relationship with BTG and Maris’ extensive experience of working within Berkeley Square House were key factors in BTG selecting to partner Maris for this project. Having successfully completed projects for Straumur Investment Bank and HarbourVest Partners, Maris were able to demonstrate a strong working relationship and understanding with the property and its consultants.
Maris’ Technical Director commented, “The Landlord’s redevelopment works were a potential stumbling point regarding BTG’s timescales for this project, however with close coordination and communication between all parties the Landlord has been able to deliver their works in a timely manner to allow our own fast-track fit-out programme to commence on time. Whilst the programme time to deliver this project is extremely tight, the quality and finish cannot be compromised, such is the level of workplace design detailing and aesthetic”.
Maris’ Head of Sales commented, “This project is testimony to our commitment to work with Clients on all sizes of projects. In 2007 we were supporting Lentikia Capital with a 2,000 sq ft search that involved over 25 viewings of potential properties and multiple test-fit designs and property evaluations. Whilst that project never materialised, we are delighted to be supporting BTG and are committed to continuing this long term relationship after what promises to be one of the stand-out workplace design and fit-out projects in Mayfair in 2011”.
