Office Relocation Completed for Twenty Recruitment

December 2010

Maris Interiors have completed the office design, office fit-out and office relocation for Twenty Recruitment Group have relocated their offices from 41 Lothbury, London to 1 King’s Arm Yard, London.

The driver for this office relocation project was the lease expiry. After undertaking a competitive pitch process Maris was awarded the office design, office fit-out and office relocation.

Twenty Recruitment Group launched in January 2009, at the bottom of the downturn. Formed by industry experts, and backed by a multi million pound personal investment, Twenty has the funding, infrastructure and branding to attract some of the very best recruiters from some of the biggest names in recruitment.

The office fit-out project was on the Lower Ground Floor of 1 King’s Arm Yard to create a ‘design extravagant’ workplace comprising a bespoke Reception / welcome area, two tea points and a large open plan area to produce the fresh feel Twenty sought after.

The works include taking the existing Cat A office space to a high specification Cat B fit-out. The building boasts floor to ceiling glazing and a classic Portland stone façade. Maris are constructing a bespoke reception area featuring a curved reception desk and a feature lowered and curved ceiling bulkhead detail. Throughout the reception space, Maris will lower the floor height and install a lavish stone floor. The open plan area is highlighted with shaped carpet sections.

Maris’ Project Director commented “Being on the Lower Ground Floor created a daylight issue for Twenty Recruitment and Maris devised a solution by fitting exterior lighting facing into the windows to create a daylight effect from the inside. Maris were awarded this project on their cost-effective office design and understanding of Twenty’s requirements for the futureproofing this workspace”.
