London Office Relocation for SVG Advisers
February 2009
Maris Interiors is pleased to announce that they are currently on site undertaking the office fit out at 61 Aldwych, London for SVG Advisers, a leading private equity investor and fund management business listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Maris Interiors has been working with SVG Advisers on their office relocation project since April 2008, helping them to evaluate properties with their acquiring agent, CBRE, enabling them to short list and finally make the decision to take one of the floors totalling 20,000 sq ft of office space at 61 Aldwych.
SVG Advisers, whose portfolio of investments include the Valentino Fashion Group, Britvic Soft Drinks and Birds Eye iglo, are relocating their London headquarters from 111 Strand.
The office relocation, which commenced on site on 15th December 2008 is set to complete on 6th March 2009 and will encompass a full office fit-out including furniture. This is the fourth fit-out at 61 Aldwych for Maris Interiors, having already assisted Babson Capital Europe, one of the largest leveraged loan managers in Europe with 2 office fit-out projects over the 8th and 9th floors, in addition to a 26,000 sq ft office fit-out project in the building for another Client.
The scope of works for SVG Advisers includes an elegant front of house reception area with classical joinery detail, a 40 person presentation suite, 6 meeting rooms, a large open plan general office with 14 cellularised hot offices, and a large staff breakout facility.
Maris Interiors also worked alongside SVG’s independent project managers, EC Harris and internal project team in the delivery of this prestigious turnkey office design, office fit-out and office furniture contract.
Maris' Project Director commented, “Having worked with SVG Advisers over the past 10 months, we are delighted to see the fit out project fast tracking on site in order to coincide with SVG’s impending exit from their current building. We are really looking forward to the realisation of this prestigious project.”
