London Office Fit-Out and Relocation for Ark Syndicate

Maris Interiors is delighted to announce the completion of the office design, office fit-out and office relocation for Ark Syndicate Management to The Aviva Tower, 1 Undershaft, London, EC3.
Ark Syndicate, who have established an insurance and re-insurance syndicate within Lloyds, expanded from 5,382 sq ft of office space on the 5th floor to 10,764 sq ft on the 8th floor. The fast-track office fit-out and relocation project took just 4 weeks to complete.
The design to turn this tired, pre-fitted office space into a more welcoming, clean, fresh, open plan office has been well received by everyone at Ark Syndicate. The scope of works required removing much of the existing cellular partitioning to create an open plan office leaving only a few re-configured meeting rooms. The reception area was completely re-designed and a clever transformation has created impact with additional directional lighting, signage and wall colour.
Maris fought off strong competition to undertake the project for Ark by providing a well thought-out workplace design presentation, competitive budget and an attractive programme. A thrifty plan to re-use some carpeting and partitioning meant a more cost effective, greener end product.
Maris' Project Director commented, “Our focus was on re-designing the office space to the specification Ark Syndicate while optimising re-utilisation of many of the existing materials”. The completion of this project to time and budget has produced an excellent new working relationship for Maris and Ark Syndicate.
