City Index Award Maris Office Design & Fit-Out

Maris is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the office design and office fit-out contract for 31,000 sq ft of office space at Park House, Finsbury Circus, London, EC2 for City Index, the leading supplier of trading services.
This will be Maris’s third project for City Index. When City Index decided to consolidate their two City offices and took the ground and first floors of Park House, 16-18 Finsbury Circus, Maris was the natural choice following 2 successful turnkey office design and fit-out projects.
Park House is a recently refurbished, listed office building that has retained the original façade and some of the property’s original features including a stunning marble stairway. City Index were the first tenants to take space in the building.
Maris Design Partner, Stephen Barter said, “City Index’s brief, combined with the original features of a listed building presented an exciting challenge for our workplace design team. We incorporated the contemporary office design aspirations of City Index and blended in the corporate brand as part of the design, particularly with the use of brand graphics and a comprehensive audio visual solution.”
The scope of works includes a full Cat B office fit-out of the ground and first floors. There will be three client meeting rooms as well as a stunning suite of executive offices. In addition, a tiered, lecture theatre style seminar room is being created for the training of both staff and clients.
Facilities also include a broadcasting TV room, where City Index broadcast financial updates and analysis bulletins for Sky TV, ITV News and other channels.
