Client Background
SCOR is a leading global reinsurer who employ over 1,700 staff in 27 countries (including America and Asia), along with more than 31,000 shareholders.
Points of note
Maris relocated three separate office locations for SCOR into 4 floors at 10 Lime Street and tasked us with bringing fresh ideas to their initial workplace design and fit-out brief.
An investigation of the existing ways of broker and underwriting trading led to the development of a new solution.
The result is a fabulous office design and fit-out with a unique broker lounge and hub, offering a stimulating and relaxing environment for external brokers and the opportunity for them to use the Wi-Fi on comfortable lounge seating.
SCOR also wanted to maximise communication within the company. This was achieved by the inclusion of a large staff café, which encourages movement between floors.
