Saffron Building Society

Client Background

Saffron Building Society has a network of 12 branches serving the communities of Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and London as well as many agencies in the region. They offer a range of savings, mortgage and investment products including tax free savings, notice accounts, immediate access and children’s savings.

Points of note

Maris Interiors have successfully relocated some operations teams at Saffron Building Society from offices in Saffron House at 1A Market Street in Saffron Walden to new premises in Chesterford Research Park.

This 9,000 sq ft office relocation project includes a full fit-out, reception area, meetings rooms and breakout space. In addition a restaurant with attached kitchen has been built to provide Saffron staff with breakout facilities.

Saffron’s vision is simple: it is focussed on quality, customer needs and service. Therefore the design style is organic, transparent and fresh which maintains the professionalism and quality of the organisation. Accent colours following the branding are introduced into the overall scheme to inspire and add the personality of the company.
