Client Background

Moneycorp are an award-winning foreign exchange specialist with over 35 years experience in currency exchange. Their goal is to set the standards in the foreign exchange industry by delivering the best and most comprehensive services to their customers.

Points of note

The brief for this office design and fit-out project was to create a highly functional space with a rational layout which works in harmony with the existing infrastructure. Maris has therefore created a new workspace with zoned workspaces, consolidated meeting rooms and supporting accommodation. This aids fluid communication between teams and creates an open working environment with a collaborative heart and with a high level of interaction across all business disciplines. Lastly, but not least, the workspace accommodates all of Moneycorp’s internal and external meeting facility requirements, including informal meeting spaces and a Client lounge. The new office reflects the core values of Moneycorp: Collaborative Principles, Recognition and Determination. The design satisfies all building control requirements.

Moneycorps new office is located in the Zig Zag Building in London’s Victoria. It is one of two buildings to replace the former Kingsgate House on Victoria Street. Designed by Patrick Lynch, The Zig Zag Building offers 190,000 sq ft of stunning new office space, with multiple roof terraces. Situated next to Westminster City Hall, The Zig Zag Building and neighbouring Kings Gate residential apartments are the latest developments in Land Securities’ £2 billion transformation of Victoria.
