Berlitz

Client Background

Berlitz is a world-leading language training company that offers language courses for business and pleasure to students right around the world. Formed in 1978, Berlitz has a global presence of 550 company owned and franchised locations in over 70 countries.

Points of note

Berlitz’s new offices are located on the 4th floor at 233 High Holborn. An office design concept was conceived that would suit a classroom environment to cater for multiple one to one tuition. Tutors’ accommodation was also incorporated as lessons could last a long duration of time. A light palette was introduced with various impact areas to create a modern fresh interior.

The fourth floor is Berlitz’s showcase for executive clients, with a reception area, a large boardroom, multiple classrooms, breakout areas and staff facilities. Maris were chosen, over the competition, as Berlitz’s fit-out partner due to their excellent workspace solution, outstanding design and the fact that this was achieved in an exceptionally cost effective way.
