Client Background

123 Send is the United Kingdom’s leading provider of ‘mobile’ GPRS card payment terminals. 123Send has a wide range of products and services such as; Mobile, Portable and Countertop terminals and other E-commerce solutions.

Points of note

The office fit-out programme consisted of new furniture, partitioning, door frames, skirting, kitchen unit, plumbing, IT, mechanical and electrical and a high level of emergency services.

The challenging aspect of the project was the integration of the operations area, security and IT requirements. The operations area is the hub of their business; therefore it was crucial that the design detail and function for this space was fully examined.

In addition to this, the Client’s focus was on collaboration and team work for the open plan working area and the front of house reception and meeting room spaces. Therefore space planning and furniture ergonomics were all crucial elements at the initial planning stage.
