We have been helping organisations create high performance workplaces since 1977, and we approach each and every project by communicating in a collaborative process in order to understand your company’s individual office design requirements and ensure it keeps within budget. We can be of most help and value by learning about your situation and needs as early in the process as possible.

Our office designers offer consultation and guidance on every aspect of a building’s interior and we have expertise in all market sectors, from blue-chip organisations to charities.

We work in a very different way to our competitors. For example, many of our competitors never think to understand what the cost of the Clients total occupancy is and how to reduce it. We do! Also, we don’t charge for giving advice, or undertaking technical building surveys, or the creation of a feasibility study or full proposal.

We would work closely with you to analyse every aspect of your occupancy costs, with the goal of creating an optimised workplace and making you significant financial savings.

Additionally we are an Alcumus SafeContractor and have successfully achieved the Achilles BuildingConfidence standard (audited).

From the outset we spend a significant amount of time understanding
your objectives. This is to make sure at the earliest opportunity
sustainability can be integrated into the design process.

This includes demonstrating our commitment to the environment
during the construction phase and providing you with a sustainable
working environment, whereby you understand the functionality of the
applied environmental measures.

We are dedicated to providing sustainable fit-out solutions by ensuring
environmental, social and economic parameters are considered in the
provision of our services.

We listen to your needs. If your business has embedded Sustainability
Policies and Corporate Sustainable Initiatives already in place, we will
ensure that the building matches your requirements.

If however, you need assistance in understanding how you can integrate
sustainability within your property, we can provide this support. This is

Health & Safety

We are a OHSAS 18001:2007 accredited company.

Our commitment to Health & Safety is not just a written policy, it is ingrained in our core beliefs.
Unlike many of our competitors, we have a highly experienced in-house Health & Safety team.

Quite simply, we eat, sleep and breathe Health & Safety and progressively invest and work to improve every aspect of our Health & Safety activities and assist those who work with us (our sub-contractors and Clients) on our fit-out sites to do the same. In addition to our in-house Health & Safety team we also employ the services of independent advisers who carry out regular site inspections and who work with us in developing and implementing even better systems and the highest quality training.

We have completed over 10,000 fit-out projects and have an exemplary track record with the HSE (Health and Safety Executive), with no major incidents.

The message from the top is that there’s nothing so important that it should mean a compromise to our Health & Safety standards and to keeping our fit-out sites safe, immaculate and injury free. Regardless of whether your project is small or large you need to be aware of your Health and Safety responsibilities. Our in-house Health & Safety Department and a CDM Co-ordinator are available to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Charity Commitments

Maris are proud to announce their support to
Eikon and Giving Africa

The Eikon Charity strives to provide socially and economically disadvantaged young people with the support and skills they need to overcome challenges and fulfil their potential in later life. We have undertaken an office refurbishment for Eikon’s Surrey office completely free of charge and embarked on numerous fund raising initiatives which have included our construction team taking on the RideLondon cycling challenge.

Giving Africa are a unique charity focused on developing education by building schools in West Africa. We are working directly with Giving Africa, along with AEAD and Article 25 to design, improve and expand the infrastructure and facilities Bethel Secondary school in Gourcy, a town to the north of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso.
